Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology

Program Overview

This program prepares students to become skilled ophthalmic technicians who assist ophthalmologists in diagnosis, testing, and surgical support. Through a combination of classroom learning and hands-on clinical training, students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to perform eye examinations, operate ophthalmic equipment, and assist in surgeries. The Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology trains students to operate ophthalmic equipment and assist in eye examinations, diagnostic procedures, and clinical practices. The program combines optical science with ophthalmic technology and hands-on practical skills, preparing graduates to deliver exceptional eye care services in hospitals, eye clinics, and optical centers.
